Anouk Dev has been a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Melbourne for over ten years. She completed basic physician training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and advanced training in gastroenterology at Monash Medical Centre She was admitted as a Fellow of the Australian College of Physicians in 1998 before pursuing doctorate studies at Monash University and post doctoral research at Duke University in North Carolina.

Dr Dev is currently the Deputy Director of Gastroenterology at Southern Health and Director of Gastroenterology ambulatory care clinics. She is co-chair of the Melbourne Liver Group and a committee member of the Melbourne collaboration for the study of hepatocellular carcinoma. At Monash University she is a senior lecturer in Medicine involved in undergraduate and post graduate teaching. Dr Dev works in private practice at Caulfield Endoscopy. She performs upper and lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy) and PEG insertion. She has an interest in liver disease including viral hepatitis, inflammatory Bowel disease and functional gut disorders. She is actively involved in research in viral hepatitis.
